The cast and crew have returned to Albuquerque in New Mexico to film "Better Call Saul" season 3 and fans can expect more "Breaking Bad" characters and nods in the upcoming season.

Just recently, Betsy Brandt, who played the role of Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) sister-in-law Marie in the original, said that her character and Hank (Dean Norris) could appear in "Better Call Saul."

"I don't think that's out of the question," she told Huffington Post. "You know, it's definitely been discussed and I feel like that's something that we could see. I'll do anything those guys want," Brandt said.

Her remark suggests that there are actual plans to bring Marie and Hank back. Whether it will happen in "Better Call Saul" season 3 or not remains to be seen at the moment.

What is certain is that "Breaking Bad" villain Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will be very much a part of "Better Call Saul" season 3 as his arrival was teased in the second season. In fact, the episodes were leading up to his entrance.

At some point down the line, fans can expect more notable characters from the parent series to turn up including Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).

Speaking to Albuquerque Journal, "Better Call Saul" lead actor Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill, suggested that Jesse will appear at some point "because Jesse knew about Saul."

It would not be a surprise to see the people in Jimmy's life when he became Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" season 3 and beyond as the upcoming season will officially jumpstart his cunning transformation.

Cast member Patrick Fabian recently teased to TV Line that the first two episodes of "Better Call Saul" season 3 will "[lay] the groundwork and character studies that we've been doing for the last two years" causing things to "ratchet up."

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will premiere next year on AMC.
