Recently, two new Beyonce songs from "Beyonce Platinum Edition Box Set" were leaked. One is called "7/11" and the other is known as "Ring Off." Expectedly, the latter gained greater notice. Its controversial and rather timely title, not to mention its revealing lyrics and lines, did nothing but breathe new life into the fainting divorce rumors surrounding the singer.

The single is figuratively delivered by a woman trying to find her way out of a relationship shrouded in betrayal. But according to TV Guide, as cited by IB Times, the leaked song is a "lyrical condolence letter to her [Beyonce's] mother."

It starts off with the lines, "Mama, I understand your many sleepless nights. When you sit and think about father and how you tried to be the perfect wife."

As Billboard further listed, the powerful song went on with the lines, "In the mirror you would stare / And say a prayer like, 'I wish he said I'm beautiful'/ I wish it didn't hurt at all /I don't know how I got here, I was once the one who had his heart".

Down the chorus, the pop diva sang, "Until you had enough then you took that ring off/ You took that ring off/ So tired of the lies and trying and fighting and crying/ You took that ring off/ Ooh now the fun begins."

Fans can't help but think that the story being told in the song's lyrics is of rapper Jay-Z's alleged cheating on his wife. In the past few months, the couple's marriage was the constant hub of the rumor mills, indicating that their relationship is slowly collapsing. For one, a footage showing Bey's younger sister Solange and her attack on Jay-Z during the Met Gala after-party intensified the rumors big time. Many then believed that the couple's recent "On the Run" tour would be followed by a split. But contrary to the expectations, the couple ended their expedition with a renewal of vows in Paris weeks after. It was even previously reported that their daughter Blue Ivy will get a younger sibling, too.

Bearing this in mind, Inquisitr traced back to the time Beyonce's dad disclosed a secret that turned out to help uncover the truth behind the intriguing song.

"It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot. Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200%," Matthew Knowles said a few months back.

Inquisitr suspects that "Ring Off" may be another "Jedi mind trick." Nevertheless, those who like to see for themselves can stream the song through SPIN.
