Big Bang Theory Season 9 is set to kick off this fall and from the looks of it, the new season will continue to focus on the separate relationships of the geeky group.

 For those who were able to catch the season-finale of last season, there were high and low points on certain relationships.

One saw the relationship of Sheldon and Amy come to a supposed end, with Amy asking for more space for their slow-moving relationship. It should be interesting to see how this angle develops in season 9. Is it really the end for Amy and Sheldon?

Did Leonard and Penny really tie the knot in Vegas? Both are still unsure if they want to get hitched so it should be interesting if the two would really get married especially after infidelity issues on the part of Leonard who admitted kissing another girl.

Another couple, Raj and Emily, is under the radar. Raj continues to struggle when it comes to communicating with women. Though he has shown marked improvement, it remains to be seen if his communication dilemma has been resolved. Will Raj and Emily hit it off or will the struggling guy break it off with Emily? The struggles of Raj continue and it could become costly at the expense of Emily in the end.

Howard and Beth will also have their share of putting their relationship to the test. With both moving in with Howard's mom, memories of his ancestral home will reportedly arise. Would these memories be good or bad? Will they harm the relationship of Beth and Howard?

Given the different situations each couple find themselves in, it should be an interesting season 9 for the Big Bang Theory.

The season finale reportedly rendered a spike in the rating of the show, setting the stage in what should be a pretty interesting season 9 which debuts in the Fall.
