Is Big Sean regretting his split with Ariana Grande?

According to Hollywood Life, the rapper might still have some feelings for the "Problem" singer. Although the two are said to be on good terms since their breakup last April, it appears as though the 27-year old might be missing his ex as he posted an emotional message on Instagram on Friday, May 29. 

Big Sean posted a picture of himself and captioned it, "Sometimes I close my eyes n pretend its just me n u." 

Fans are speculating that the rapper's post is all about him missing the 21-year old singer, with one fan commenting, "Can you and Ariana grande be together @bigsean." 

The two split after eight months of dating. 

"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," their reps said in a joint statement released on Monday, April 20. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time." 

At the time, sources close to the pair revealed to Us Weekly that they very quietly and amicably ended their relationship a few weeks before the announcement. The sources told the magazine that the breakup was caused by "conflicting touring schedules." 

Grande and Big Sean first sparked dating rumors when they were photographed backstage at the MTV Music Video Awards in August. The two confirmed their relationship in October and were seen wearing matching lion pendant necklaces. Since then, the two have appeared together onstage at various concerts and have often referenced each other on social media. 

Although the split is said to be amicable, another source from Hollywood Life claims that the rapper is having a hard time with the breakup and has negative feelings toward the singer. Big Sean has reportedly told his friends that he thinks the singer is "immature and selfish." Since their split, both Grande and Big Sean have not been reported to be dating anyone else as of this time.
