UPDATE: Ken Ham vs Bill Nye: Who Said What?

Ken Ham is a creation apologist, founder of Answers in Genesis and bestselling Christian author.

Bill Nye is an Emmy-award winning science educator.

Both men answered  the following question: "Is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern scientific era?"

Each man stated their beliefs and allowed the audience to ask questions.

Prior to the debate, Nye told CNN he is taking part in the debate in order to educate people on the "scientifically illiterate" view of the earth's origins. He said the debate would ""highlight the fact that so many young people are dismissing the Bible because of evolution, and even many young people who had grown up in the church decided to leave the church because they saw evolution as showing the Bible could not be trusted."
