Although it has already been taken down, a previous post by a game retailer listed a "Bioshock Collection" to be released later this year.

Predictably, the listing made by South African retailer website Raru has already been removed, but not before eagle-eyed fans took note of the listing details. According to GamesRadar, the post detailed a "Bioshock Collection" to be released for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Observers note that although Raru has already deleted the listing page, and even if the publisher of the "Bioshock" franchise, 2K Games, did not confirm the game title, speculations place the deleted listing as somewhat true. This is particularly because it came from Raru – the same website that apparently leaked the Greninja, Jigglypuff, and Splatoon amiibo toys even before they were released. 

The last title to be published under the "Bioshock" franchise is the anthology "Bioshock Infinite: The Complete Edition," a bundled package containing two titles, "Bioshock Infinite" and "Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea." Aside from extra content like the Clash in the Clouds arena mode, the anthology package also contained pre-order freebies and extra items.

If ever there would be another "Bioshock" title, whether it be a new title or a straight port of previous ones in an anthology collection, publisher 2K Games would have to coordinate with a new developer. The original company developer of the series, Irrational Games, shut down early last year.

Meanwhile, company co-founder Ken Levine has been quoted as saying that he is going in a new direction under Take Two Interactive, parent company of Irrational Games.

Gamespot quoted Levine last year as saying, "I am winding down Irrational Games as you know it. I'll be starting a smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavour at Take-Two." 

If there is some truth to the post about a new "Bioshock Collection" game, fans of the franchise will see it on Nov. 27, as per the listing's announcement.
