Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "Black Desert Online" has gotten a lot of fame since its release a few years ago. Given its unique sandbox experience, there is definitely quite a huge player-base for the game. It is then not surprising that the mobile game version would get almost the same player count.

Developer of both the original and mobile game, Pearl Abyss, has recently revealed that they have gotten four million players to pre-register for the mobile game. Players can easily expect the same kind of exhilarating action on the mobile game with many of its features being similar.

The mobile version will presumably have various skill trees to choose from depending highly on the player's game style. Players will also have to provide for their own resources by crafting, fishing, and sailing, among others. Of course, there will be a lot of player vs. environment (PvE) content including boss battles and for the more competitive, there is the player vs. player (PvP) mode.

One feature that it is expected to have is its detailed character creation mode very much like the original "Black Desert Online." Players can change minute details on the character's face to either make the most handsome or beautiful character model or maybe even a hilarious one.

On the PC, "Black Desert Online" has about 8.5 million registered users all over the world in about 150 countries and translated to 12 languages according to Pearl Abyss in a press release, per Wccftech. The developer also mentioned that the game will also get a release for the Xbox One within the year and for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) at a later date.

The four million players who have pre-registered are actually from South Korea alone and hence, Pearly Abyss has only given a release date for the said country set on Feb. 28, 2018. There is no announcement yet for a western release. The game will be made available for both Android and iOS.
