Now that Thanksgiving week has finally arrived, more retailers are now offering various game titles at discounted prices.

Newegg offers "Destiny" for both PS4 and Xbox One platforms for $40, down from its original price of $59.99. Immediately after its release, "Destiny" topped the charts and has become one of the most successful game titles in PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360. Moreover, the game is bound to release two expansion packs – "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves." Thus, this is a perfect time to buy the game for less as it will save avid gamers a few bucks, especially if they are planning to buy the DLCs.

Meanwhile, Toys "R" Us offers the "2 for $30" deal for older game titles for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS. Newer games are offered at their regular prices but one can get the second game for 40 percent less. Also, a set of three "Skylanders Trap Team" Traps costs $15, while three "Spyro's Adventure" game figures cost $10.

U.S. giant retailer Target, on the other hand, offers game console bundles like the Xbox One with "Assassin's Creed: Unity" and "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" for $329. The retailer also offers $20 off the Xbox Live multiplayer matchmaking service and $10 less on Xbox One controller.

Holiday shoppers can also get the previous Xbox 360 from the store for as low as $179 with "Forza Horizon," "Kinect Sports" and "Kinect Adventures." Meanwhile, Nintendo 2DS with "Yoshi's New Island" is offered for $100 only.

However, the best deal is offered by Amazon who started giving discounts to gamers ahead of everyone else with its hourly deals of up to 50 to 60 percent less. Players looking for specific titles should check the site constantly to catch the deals as they are offered at limited times.

More stores are bound to offer discounts and doorbuster deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
