In the next episode of "Black-ish," Rainbow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) goes through postpartum depression after giving birth to Devante.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Mother Nature" was just released and showed Rainbow in the supermarket doing some grocery-shopping. However, she suddenly bursts into tears and sobs, "I don't need this many potatoes." The emotional wife just gave birth to their youngest son Devante and is now having a case of postpartum depression. Her husband Andre (Anthony Anderson) asks her how she is doing but she tells him that she is going through a bad day.

They end up seeking some professional assistance from a therapist to help sort out Rainbow's anxieties. "Does this mean she will stop crying every time she sees me?" Andre asks the therapist, thinking that he is the cause of her depression. However, the doctor says that he is not the problem but something else.

In the meantime, Pops (Laurence Fishburne) gets frustrated after his grandkids Andre Jr. (Marcus Scribner), Zoey (Yara Shahidi), Diane (Marsai Martin), and Jack (Miles Brown) babyproof the entire house to safeguard the new baby. Apparently, they locked all the drawers which Pops needs to open to get some of his tools and other important things.

In the last episode, Andre got annoyed at Jack and Diane's school show about "Columbus the Heroic Explorer." He believed that the African slaves did not have it easy under Christopher Columbus. He also thought that that part of history was not highlighted enough.

Andre, therefore, wanted a new part of American history to be celebrated which was when black Americans were freed from slavery. He expressed his sentiments to his family and office colleagues in an attempt to get their support.

"Black-ish" season 4 episode 2 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
