Marvel's upcoming film "Black Panther" recently dropped a full trailer showcasing a lot of metal-busting action, as well as the fantastic fictional nation of Wakanda.

The trailer was posted by Marvel's YouTube channel with the description, "Long live the king." In the movie, Chadwick Boseman portrays T'Challa, the new king of the made-up African country of Wakanda. The film will tell the story of how T'Challa figures out his fate as king and ruler of his nation following the untimely death of his father.

The preview showed a lot of the movies amazing and intriguing visuals, with flying ships, fancy costumes, and hidden cities. Indeed, as Nerdist noted, the trailer looks as much as a science fiction title as it is a superhero movie.

Aside from the fantasy elements, action is also something that abounds in the new trailer. In one sequence, Boseman, in his Black Panther suit, jumps of a car at the moment that it explodes, then somersaults through the air to land sideways on the wall of a building. With his cat-like reflexes, he then races across the wall and jumps onto the side of another car. Then, with one hand, he skewers the tire off of the vehicle and tosses it away.

Still, his fighting and ruling powers will be challenged by the film's two antagonists, the formerly exiled usurper Erik Killmonger, played by a ripped Michael B. Jordan; and the arms dealer Ulysses Klaue, portrayed by Andy Serkis.

The trailer also showed the great supporting cast of the movie, which includes a number of big names in the industry. The cast includes Academy Award-winners Forest Whitaker and Lupita Nyong'o, as well as Angela Basset, Martin Freeman, and Sterling K. Brown.

The film is set to open in cinemas on Feb. 18, 2018. As opening date moves closer, fans can expect more sneak previews of what this new superhero film has to offer.
