Judging by how well fans of the Marvel Universe received this year's "Black Panther," it is certainly obvious that the comic book tycoon is on top of its game.

And it does not seem like it is planning to take a break anytime now especially after Chris Evans (Captain America) accidentally confirmed that the standalone film "Black Widow," which Scarlett Johansson plays on screen, is going to push through.

In a candid interview with ET Canada, Marvel star Chris Evans expressed his honest thoughts on Marvel's current body of work, telling the entertainment portal that there is not anything Marvel cannot accomplish.

After praising Marvel's successful movie franchise, Evans accidentally spilled the beans on the heavily anticipated solo film "Black Widow."

"There's nothing they can't do, man. And I'm sure it's gonna have the exact same effect when Captain Marvel comes out, and then the Black Widow movie comes out. Marvel just has the winning recipe and they're kind of one step ahead of everybody else," the 36-year-old actor explained.

This particular statement left many to speculate that the movie is indeed within Marvel's future releases.

Although it is pleasant news for fans, this is not the first time that news broke out about the Russian super spy starring in her own film.

According to reports, during the Supanova Comic Con late last year, former editor-in-chief of Marvel, Stan Lee, confirmed that there will be a Black Widow movie in the future.

Alongside this, sources also confirmed to Variety that Jac Schaeffer, the screenplay writer for "Nasty Women," has been tasked with creating a script for the film.

When asked about the news, Marvel refused to share details.

If the movie is really in Marvel's sights, IGN believes that it will drop sometime in 2020 seeing as the movie schedule for years 2018 and 2019 has been fully booked.
