It seems like September is the month for new gadget releases, as another tech firm announced its plans to unveil its latest product on Sept. 24.

This time, the launching event will be hosted by Blackberry.

The news came after the mobile producer released an invite last week for a scheduled event that will be held in three different cities: Toronto, Dubai, and London.

Though the invite did not provide more details except for the date and the city where the event will be held, it bore the words "See The Bigger Picture."

Gadget watchers believe that the invite is building the excitement for the launching of the much-awaited Blackberry Passport.  An article posted on Blackberry OS says that the device can be purchased from the stores in Europe, UAE, and Canada beginning starting Oct. 1, while consumers from the US can buy it after a week or two of its release in other countries.

Blackberry also released a one-page ad in Canada on Sept. 10. The ad reads:

At BlackBerry, we're proud of our Canadian heritage. It's what drives us to continuously push security and productivity boundaries, allowing those with unstoppable energy to work smarter, collaborate better, and accomplish more. The soon-to-be-released BlackBerry Passport is further proof of our commitment to serious mobility for serious business."

Blackberry Passport is the newest product from the Canadian mobile brand. It has a 4.5-inch screen with 1440 x 1440 ppi resolution. It runs with a 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with Blackberry OS 1.0.3.1.

The new mobile device also comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera as well as a video recording capacity of 4K, and it is powered with a 3450mAh battery.

In addition, multiple reports are saying that the Blackberry Passport will be sold for around $800 in the US or €650 in Europe.
