The second season finale of "The Blacklist" contained a lot of revelations about Liz Keen's (Megan Boone) past, and it became clear that she was framed for the murder of Senator Hawkins. She's now also on the run after she killed Tom Connolly (Reed Birney). As Liz joined Raymund Reddington (James Spader) in his car as they drove off together in season 2's final scenes, she also joined him on the FBI's most wanted list. So what's in store for Liz when "The Blacklist" returns next month?

Boone told Zap2It that when the show comes back for its fourth season, fans will find that her character is "no longer working within the law," and that the show will have a very different dynamic. The website reports that NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said that this time around, Liz and Red are "literally on the run together."

Of the pair's new dynamic, Greenblatt said that it definitely energizes the whole season and that it will give the show a different feel this year.

"[Liz and Red] are locked together," said Greenblatt at NBC's 2015 TCA summer press tour. "We're only into the early few episodes, but I think it's a really fun, new direction."

Aside from being chased by the FBI, Liz and Red will also have to deal with a new villain in the upcoming season. According to Entertainment Weekly, their new enemy, named Mr. Solomon, is described as being unassuming and soft-spoken on the surface, with an appetite for violence.

Executive producer John Eisendrath told TVGuide that Solomon will not be friendly in any way to Liz or Red, and that he will put someone close to Red in a vulnerable position that could endanger everyone.

Mr. Solomon will be played by Edi Gathegi, who starred in the "Twilight" movies as the vampire Laurent. His other credits include the TNT series "Proof" and "X-Men: First Class."

"The Blacklist" season 3 premieres on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. on NBC.
