The season premiere of "Blood and Oil" saw a cast of familiar faces in a show reminiscent of "Dallas," the iconic '80s show about wealthy oil tycoons and their family dramas. The premiere drew mixed reviews, but many critics saw the show's potential due to its powerhouse cast and fresh location of North Dakota.

Viewers were delighted to see the return of Don Johnson, of "Miami Vice" fame, to television as ruthless oil tycoon Hap Briggs. Adding glamor to the cast is supermodel Amber Valetta, who plays his wife Darla. Younger audiences were also happy to see "Gossip Girl" alum Chace Crawford back on TV as Billy LeFever, a man who intends to get wealthy by moving to North Dakota and join the rush for oil fields with his wife, Cody (Rebecca Rittenhouse).

The show has just aired its second episode this week, which featured an oil heist that was thought to be the doing of Hap's son, Wick (Scott Michael Foster). But as it was proven that Wick had nothing to do with it, Hap is going to make amends by bringing in his son on a new venture, which viewers will get to see in the next episode of the show titled "Hustle and Flow."

No doubt, Hap's move will satisfy his ambitious son's desire to move up, but when Billy attempts to join the deal, tensions soon rise to the surface.

In the promo for the third episode, Billy is seen telling Wick that he's not his enemy. But Wick, disliking the thought of Billy joining his venture with his father, tells him, "You know what else you're not? My partner." Soon, the two begin fighting.

But there's more drama coming up as Hap rekindles his relationship with his son's girlfriend, Jules (India de Beaufort). In the promo, Jules is seen dodging Wick's kiss when she sees Hap standing nearby, and Hap is heard telling his son that he has to end it with her.

"Blood & Oil" airs on Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.
