'Bloodborne' new trailer introduces Chalice Dungeons, PS4 bundle set for Europe on March 25

On March 25, gamers in Europe can get a "Bloodborne" PS4 bundle. Sony Computer Entertainment is packing the hack and slash thriller game together with a black PS4 and a DualShock 4 controller to give gamers another awesome experience of battling the malformed citizens of the ruined city of Yharnam. Amazon Spain is expected to put 50 euro on top of the regular price of the console.

Meanwhile, a new gameplay trailer for "Bloodborne" takes players deep into the pits of the Chalice Dungeons, which serve as the component that sets the installment apart from its phenomenal "Souls" predecessors. The Chalice Dungeons, which are found beneath the gothic city, is the game's hub of online interaction. SCE Japan Studio producer Masaaki Yamagiwa boasts the elements, which are far different from the procedurally generated maps in "roguelike" games, simply because these dungeons "change depending on who is looking at them."

"With the Chalice Dungeon, we want to emphasize two things," Yamagiwa explained in the trailer. "By introducing procedurally generated areas that keep changing, we can keep providing gamers with fresh gameplay to enjoy, and we can keep offering varied maps so that they always need to think about new strategies. Secondly, we want the players to share their experiences freely."

While navigating through the game, players can acquire items that can be used to perform rituals, which, in turn, would allow them to gain entrance to the Chalice Dungeons. How the dungeon will look like depends on the items collected by the players. As noted in the PlayStation Europe blog, it's unlikely that two players can generate identical dungeons. However, they can tag someone along to navigate through it.

Meanwhile, there is also an 18-minute footage that shows off the spine-tingling setup of From Software's upcoming video game. In the uninterrupted game video exclusive to IGN, players are transported into a sinister cinematic and into the dismal derelict of the locale now shadowed by a ghostly pink sunset as opposed to the bleak nighttime it was once in. A ferocious brute lies in wait to murder the players, who will then be brought to the colorful world and into Yharnam.

The game studios are currently "working hard and making sure the game is just right." So players will have to wait for March 24 (U.S.) for its release. PS4 gamers in Europe will see "Bloodborne" on March 25 while it will be released in Japan on March 26. U.K. will get the PS4-exclusive title on March 27.
