More drama is expected to erupt in the ninth episode of "Blue Bloods" season 7 after the highly anticipated moment between Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) finally took place in the previous episode.

In the upcoming installment titled "Confession," Jamie's father Frank (Tom Selleck) will be in a complicated situation as he tries to find a missing boy. According to the synopsis for the episode, the only possible witness for the case is a priest who is contemplating on breaking the seal of confession. But the NYPD commissioner will do everything that he can to get the information needed to help save the boy, even if it gets him into trouble.

Meanwhile, Frank's other son, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), and his partner, Baez (Marisa Ramirez), will have another challenging case of their own after they were assigned to investigate the death of a popular New York City socialite. But the two should dig deeper to learn more about the death since the socialite has a secret life.

On the other hand, Jamie and Eddie's blossoming romance will take another step forward as they decide to attend a big wedding together.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ray revealed that the Jamie-Eddie romance will get more interesting after their kiss in episode 8. "I think the next episode is the more interesting one... just seeing what they choose and what's off the table," the actress stated. "They want to be together, but some things are just off the table, so you'll see what happens next," she went on to say.

Ray also mentioned that she is also waiting to see what will happen next to the new couple, but she believes that their relationship is not just a false start. This could mean that there will be positive developments in the new romantic relationship between them.

The next episode of "Blue Bloods" season 7 is slated to air on Friday, Nov. 18, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
