There is no significant progress in the health condition of American reality television star and celebrity daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown after months of being hospitalized, her grandmother said in a recent television interview.

Cissi Houston, a family member with significant knowledge about Brown's medical condition, told Entertainment Tonight she remains unresponsive at an Atlanta-area rehab facility.

"She's the same. She's not progressing at all," Houston was quoted as saying.

Houston added that the whole family are supporting each other, hoping for her granddaughter's immediate recovery.

"We're a family…that works together for the best. You want the best for whomever or everybody we can…We can be on the other side too if you make us be but we are not going to do that. There's no reason for that," Houston said.

The 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub by her boyfriend and another friend inside her Georgia home on January 31.

Her medical condition has sparked public interest, owing to the fact that she is the only child of singer-songwriter Bobby Brown, and the late singer Whitney Houston.

In a separate statement sent to People Magazine, Cissy Houston revealed that Bobbi Kristina is suffering from "irreversible brain damage."

"I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital, and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma, she has a tracheotomy, and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive," Bobbi Kristina's grandmother said.
