Thursday on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Bill told Ridge, Liam, and Steffy about Rick's offer to him. He asked Ridge why he should side with him. Liam reminded Bill that he's been working on this deal for months. Bill said that deals can be changed and told Ridge to make him a better offer. Steffy told Bill that he's had his fun — now it's time to get on to business. Eric demanded to know Bill's decision. Bill turned to him and told him that they have a deal, on one condition. 

"Maya's got to go," Bill told Rick. "As the face of Forrester Creations, she's out." 

Rick argued with Bill, but Bill told him to face reality. The customers think that it isn't right for Maya to represent the company. Rick hit him and told him that he's a disgrace. He stepped out of the office and called Maya to tell her that he was coming over. 

Steffy, Liam and Ridge had a private meeting, and Ridge couldn't believe that Rick chose Maya. Steffy said now, Ridge can take his rightful place as CEO. 

Nick visited Maya at her apartment, and she told him that she planned to leave town, but Rick came by and told her that he still loves her. Nick wondered why she didn't seem happy about this. She told him that Rick wasn't mad because she's transgender, it's because everyone else knew the truth before he did. They talked about Bill Spencer spilling her secret to the media, and Maya regreted not telling Rick sooner. She said that for now, she's laying low out of respect for Rick and the company. 

Rick arrived and spun Maya around. She thought that Rick won, but he told her that he walked away. He told her about Bill's terms and that he disrespected her. He also told her that he would defend her as long as he's living.

The CEO of Forrester is chosen in an unexpected way; Ivy encourages Wyatt to ask Steffy out. Ridge is stunned by what Rick is willing to do to prevent the takeover; Ivy is uncomfortable when she sees the closeness between Liam and Steffy.
