Bones Season 10 spoilers, plot news: Booth-Brennan marriage troubles

Bones season 10 Fox

Booth (David Boreanaz) is back to his old ways, hooked on to gambling and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is not a bit happy about it.

And making things worse was Booth's constant denial and lies, something which saw him getting kicked out of his home and thus leaving a question on whether he and Brennan would ever place their marriage back on track.

All of this happened in the last episode and it will be interesting to see how the marriage will turn out. Booth finds himself in the company of other folks with a gambling problem and it looks like he will have to do more than beg the counselor to put in a good word to save his marriage.

The drill during these meetings is similar to what many may have seen in meetings to sort out addiction problems. People who end up there need to participate and open up, something that Booth is apparently not keen on doing. It should be an interesting segment to check out when the next episode The Woman in the Whirlpool is shown. Check out the video below.

On the other end, Brennan is pretty troubled and confides to Angela about Booth's gambling addiction issues, especially since she is carrying their unborn child.

Despite the addiction, Angela consoles Brennan and tells her that despite the lies and the addiction, deep inside Brennan is a good man. In a way, it is similar to telling her that everything will work out fine (as long as Booth sticks with the program to address his addiction).

On a different note, the death of a cookie jar collector whose body was found in the riverbank will also be tackled. It seems that there could be a looming serial killer on the loose and the mystery person could possibly be linked to a former serial killer, Christopher Pelant.

With that said, the team needs to dig up the files of Pelant and determine who could be linked to the deceased cookie jar collector.

The Woman in the Whirlpool episode is the third to the last episode for Bones Season 10 where the finale will reportedly leave a lot of viewers hanging.

Most of those will be answered in Season 11, said to be the final installment for of the Bones series.
