The season 11 premiere of "Bones" made fans think that Booth (David Boreanaz) was dead after he went missing for a few days and a body was discovered. Later, it was revealed that it was actually Booth's brother who died and that Booth himself is alive and is now back working with the FBI.

Now that viewers have seen that Booth is alive and well, many are looking forward to seeing him solve more cases with Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Speaking to E! Online, Boreanaz said that the new season will be a lot more fun.

"We'll see more of the banter. We're doing fun shows. We're doing a whole fantasy football episode now; we're doing one with Betty White, who's fantastic," he said.

White will be seen in a new episode airing this month. The veteran actress will be playing a forensic anthropologist named Dr. Beth Mayer, who is approached by Brennan after a certain case stumps her. But Brennan might regret her choice. She tries not to let her competitive instincts get to her as Mayer impresses the team with her expertise and skill.

In the synopsis for the episode titled "The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves," the remains of a real estate agent named Justin Ross are discovered in a forest and appear to have been destroyed by a creature, which at first seems to be a coyote-wolf hybrid. Brennan enlists the help of Dr. Beth Mayer to assist in the investigation. In addition to her professional achievements, the team finds out that Mayer is somewhat of an expert in the world of fantasy football, which is a link to Ross' past and which could lead them to find his killer. As Booth and Aubrey go deeper into the investigation, they discover that Ross had engaged in a Twitter feud with NFL star Lou Divers and that the fantasy league's commissioner owes Ross a lot of money.

See Betty White on the Oct. 22 episode of "Bones" at 8 p.m. on Fox.
