Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will bring in a veteran forensic anthropologist (guest star Betty White) to solve her new case in the upcoming episode of the long-running Fox series "Bones."

In "The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves," Cartermatt reports that the resident Jeffersonian bone lady will need the help of an older and distinguished colleague to unlock a case involving the remains of a real estate agent. When the skeleton is found in a forest and shows signs of being partially devoured by coyote-wolf hybrids, Brennan solicits the advice of a famous forensic anthropologist. But things get dicey when her guest starts to annoy her with her expertise.

The staff cannot help but be amazed with the lady's surprising knowledge of fantasy football, which the victim was heavily involved in before his death. She will even manage to link him to a social media feud with a National Football League (NFL) star. Her decades of experience in the field also irk Brennan, who cannot help but feel insecure. It is not every day that she meets someone as smart as her, and viewers can expect to see sparks flying between the two.

Last episode, the team solved a case involving a dead body missing most of its internal organs. Lloyd Nesbit, an inventor, was found dead in a fish farm. With the help of a black market Craigslist, Angela (Michaela Conlin) tracks Nesbit's organs to someone known as The Matchmaker, but she was not talking.

Back at the lab, Brennan and Angela discovered that a girl who was supposed to be removed from the transplant waiting list recently received Nesbit's kidney. She was suffering from Wilson's disease, and although the father admitted that he bought the body part online, he did not know anything about someone getting killed because of it.

Meanwhile, Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) found that Nesbit's wounds were made by a mortician's trocar button. Brennan and Boots decided to pay the local mortician a visit and upon investigation, they learned that he was harvesting body parts and selling them online. He claimed, however, that the body was delivered to him by a trusted friend and that he was a victim of a car accident.

It turned out that Nesbit's long-time assistant got fed up with him, never having seen a penny of a raise. His boss' experiments resulted into nothing, and one day, he finally snapped. As a final act, he donated Nesbit's organs to save a few lives in exchange.

"Bones" season 11 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
