Halloween specials from favorite TV series are coming up and it's that time of the year when creepy shows get creepier.

One of the most interesting shows to look forward to this Halloween is "Bones" season 11 episode 5 titled  "The Resurrection in the Remains" and "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 episode 5 called "Dead Men Tell No Tales," both airing on Oct. 29.

What makes the episodes so special is that Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) will be meeting "Sleepy Hollow's" Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie).

The idea of a "Bones" and "Sleepy Hollow" crossover had a lot of fans raising their eyebrows and scratching their heads because each of the shows belongs to a different universe.

However, showrunners of both TV series promise that the episode will be just as entertaining and captivating as each of the TV series.

"Bones" executive producer Jonathan Collier, together with "Sleepy Hollow" executive producer Clifton Campbell had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last week to talk about the coming crossover and what fans can expect from that episode.

Campbell even admitted that they were a bit hesitant to mix in the two shows but eventually, everything worked out. "Everyone had fun and everyone came to play," the executive producer said.

Collier also mentioned that there's strong chemistry between Mison and Beharie and it was a great idea to bring them together with Booth and Brennan, who also have great chemistry.

When asked about why people should tune in to Oct. 29's episode, Collier responded:

"There's nothing not fun and entertaining about these two hours. It's an adventure that we normally wouldn't get to see these characters take."

Campbell added that the airing of the episode is just timely for the Halloween week.

Campbell and Collier are not the only ones who claim that the crossover was done very well. Even the press who got the privilege to see the two-hour special ahead of the scheduled date thought that the episode was genius, BuddyTV reported.

Fans of both shows should tune in for the anticipated crossover special, which will air on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 8–10 p.m. EST on Fox.
