In the next episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Boruto (Yuko Sanpei), Sarada (Kokoro Kikuchi), Mitsuki (Ryuichi Kijima), and their guardian Konohamaru (Hidenori Takahashi) attempt to save an embattled village.

The trailer for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Konohamaru & Team 7 Vs Bandits," was released just recently, and it shows Konohamaru talking to Boruto and his team about how to proceed with the problem in the village. Apparently, some bandits have been harassing the townspeople and stealing their crops.

"They're very violent. I can't fight them and protect you at the same time," Konohamaru says to them. Boruto, however, is up in arms and interrupts him, "Just because I'm a kid doesn't mean."

"Calm down!" the elderly mentor stops the kid midsentence, "We're resuming the mission. I will take care of those guys, and you three will rescue the village head and complete our first mission successfully!"

Boruto reluctantly agrees to do what the mentor says. He still feels that he, Sarada, and Mitsuki, are capable of taking down the bandits themselves. On the other hand, Sarada and Mitsuki think that Konohamaru is right and that they should rescue Kiri (Yuki Kaneko) and leave the battle to the highly-skilled fighter. It remains to be seen if Konohamaru will be able to defeat the hoodlums and if the kids will manage to save the village head.

In the last episode, Boruto's Team 7 came face-to-face with the bandits, but they turned out to be very powerful. Moreover, the hoodlums wanted to get the deeds to the bridge so that they could control the flow of goods and people. Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki retreated to regroup and devise another strategy.

Episode 41 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 4:25 a.m. EST with simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
