The continuation of the manga adaptation of the "Naruto" franchise continues with chapter 5 of "Boruto: Naruto The Next Generations." In the new chapter, the Chunin exam is ongoing, with Boruto being disqualified. Fans expect that the next events will lead to an attack on Konoha.

The opening chapters of the manga adaptation stayed true to the events in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Should this trend continue, then the next chapter in "Boruto: Naruto The Next Generations" will have Momoshiki and his minion interrupt the Chunin exam to capture the Nine Tails.

Being the current Hokage, the previous chapter had Naruto checking out Boruto after his win over Shikadai Nara, Shikamaru and Temari's son. Naruto found out that his son has had overwhelming success in his matches because of Kote, or Ninja tools. This has been forbidden in the on-going Chunin exams. Naruto then proceeds to scold his son.

However, even with the on-going Chunin exams – of which the other four Kages are also present – the next chapter will have Momoshiki and Kinshiki attack Konoha in order to get the Nine Tails from the Seventh Hokage. The two mysterious villains will prove to be a match for Naruto, as the two are revealed to be from the same clan as Kaguya Otsutsuki, the main enemy that Naruto and Sasuke defeated in the main "Naruto" franchise. This means that the two are also using elemental techniques like Kaguya, and the scale of their skills prove to be a match, since Naruto and the other leaders also have to take care of the spectators at the same time. Sasuke is also present, as he is still deciphering the scroll connected to Kaguya, while at the same time filling in a role as Boruto's master.

"Boruto: Naruto The Next Generations" chapter 5 is expected to come out sometime this month.
