The spin-off anime series "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" has already featured some of the popular characters from the original "Naruto" storyline. Aside from the iconic heroes like Sakura, Sasuke and Konoha's current Kage, Naruto, some of the older generation of ninjas have already made an appearance. In the upcoming episode 56, a known student of Gai is set to make her debut in the anime series as a proctor in the Chunin examination.

The latest teaser for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 56 confirms the arrival of Tenten, one of the members of the former Team Gai. Some fans have noticed that Tenten is nowhere to be found in the recent happenings in the Hidden Leaf Village, which is odd considering her present status as ninja. However, she will play an important role in the upcoming Chunin examination as she will be among the teachers who will guide the genins on the first trial.

Tenten will be joined by other ninjas who were also a part of the original "Naruto" series. Shino will also oversee the first stage of the Chunin examination, and it is expected that the two characters will have some sort of catching up after all these years.

Of course, their priority will be to ensure that only the qualified young genins will get through the first trial of the Chunin exam. Some fans are hoping that Tenten's proctoring of the examination will have the same impact as that of Anko when she handled the same Chunin trial back in the "Naruto" series.

For the "Boruto" fans who are not very much familiar with Tenten, she was a member of Team Gai along with Rock Lee and Neji. She is often commended for her knowledge with weapons, as well as her great skill in sealed techniques.

As for the Chunin examination perse, it is expected that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 56 will have more intense challenges, compared to the version of the first "Boruto" movie.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 56 will air in Japan next Thursday, May 3.
