In the next episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Boruto (Yuko Sanpei), Sarada (Kokoro Kikuchi), and Mitsuki (Ryuichi Kijima) are tasked to go on a dangerous mission against a ninja.

The trailer for the upcoming installment, which is titled "A Ninja's Job," was released just recently, and it shows Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki speeding through the forest on another important mission.

Apparently, Konohamaru (Hidenori Takahashi) sent them an emergency message which contains the task. At first, Boruto jokingly thinks it is just to look for a missing cat or dog. However, Sarada scolds him and says, "That's not what it's for! We're to apprehend a robber who's barricaded himself in a bank!"

Sarada gets impatient with Boruto and is at odds with him once again. She has to put up with him once more to accomplish the mission.

"A bank? A robber? Barricaded himself? That's the kind of mission that's worthy of my attention! A ninja's job. My chance is finally here!" Boruto shouts with delight.

Sarada just looks at him with contempt and somewhat wishes she can go at it alone. However, they have to work as a team, along with Mitsuki, in order to fulfill the objective. It remains to be seen if the young apprentices will be able to capture the nefarious ninja and bring him to justice.

In the last episode, Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki rescued Kiri (Yuki Kaneko) from a couple of dangerous mercenaries who wanted to get the deed to a bridge. They asked Kiri to stay in one corner while they challenged a formidable thug together. They were able to take him down by combining their strengths and working as one unit.

Episode 42 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 4:25 a.m. EST with simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
