Several U.S. fans of "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" are excited about the release of the animated film this month.

It was previously reported that the film will hit U.S. theaters on Oct. 10, the same day as Naruto's birthday.

Originally, the release date was supposed to be for today, Oct. 7, but has been postponed for a few days more without apparent reasons, according to Viz Media (via Movie News Guide).

Fans will just have to wait a bit more since it's not that long. On the brighter side, the movie will be aired on a weekend, which means more people will have the chance to watch the movie.

Having the date postponed to a weekend, it's also expected that the film will earn more sales.

It appears that fans cannot contain their excitement about the U.S. release date of the film, which comes as no surprise since it's considered as the best film belonging to the "Naruto" series, Latinos Post reported.

The game is so successful it's actually being considered that the film will have its own live-action adaptation.

According to Design&Trend, Lionsgate is reportedly negotiating with film creators to come up with a live-adaptation of the animated film.

In addition, it was reported that Michael Gracey, an expert at visual effects, has recently joined Lionsgate to work with the planned adaptation.

Nothing has been set on stone as of yet, but it was also rumored that Lionsgate discussed about movie rights with series creator Masashi Kishimoto.

If rumors are indeed true, it will become yet another big thing that Naruto fans will look forward to in the future.

Meanwhile, the animated film will be shown in 80 cities including Washington, San Diego, New York, Chicago, and Seattle.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will revolve around Naruto's son, Boruto, who will set out on a journey to follow on the footsteps of his father.

He will train hard and become a much better ninja under the supervision of Sasuke Uchiha, his teacher.
