"Sugar" Shane Mosley again was victorious in his return to the ring after nearly a two-year hiatus knocking out Ricardo Mayorga with a vicious body shot in the sixth round of their rematch. Now, he wants to take on his fellow veterans in his future bouts.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated before the fight against Mayorga, Mosley expressed his desire to take on Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the near future.

Mosley said that his fight last Saturday is not his last and he will continue fighting.

He added, "I want to win the world title. I want to fight Manny Pacquiao or [Floyd] Mayweather. I want to fight these guys again. I know that now I'm a better fighter and I can get to these guys and win."

But Mosley was already defeated by the men he is looking to fight next and none of them seem interested in a rematch with him.

In his bout against Mayweather more than five years ago, Mosley rocked the current no. 1 pound-for-pound a few times but later in the fight was overwhelmed by his foe's power and movement, which led to a unanimous decision loss.

Pacquiao handed him the same result in 2011 as Mosley had a hard time matching the Filipino slugger's speed and the volume of punches thrown.

In another interview, this time with Thaboxingvoice, Mosley again spoke about facing Pacquiao or Mayweather even mentioning the names of Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.

The 43-year-old was asked about the possibility of facing younger guys like Errol Spence Jr. or Chris Algieri following his win over Mayorga, but he said he is interested in taking on the veterans; then after that, he will just continue promoting fights.

Mosley's win Saturday at The Forum in Los Angeles improved his overall record to 48–9–1–1, 40 knockouts (KOs).
