Just like millions of people around the world, Brad Pitt is a huge "Game of Thrones" fan, or maybe just of Emilia Clarke. He even offered to pay $120,000 just to watch the global hit series with Daenerys Targaryen, only to lose to a higher bid.

It all went down at the 7th Annual Sean Penn & Friends Haiti Rising Gala for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Sources said the "World War Z" actor was for most part calm during the silent auction, he was even on the phone before the auctioneer revealed that the next item was a chance to watch "Game of Thrones" with one of its main ladies, Clarke. That was when his head snapped and he started actively bidding.

"During the first auction, Brad was on his phone. When the auction announced Emilia Clarke, they called her out in the crowd and Brad literally turned his whole neck to find and look at her and enthusiastically clap," a source told Us Weekly.

The offer reportedly started at $20,000, but quickly escalated when Pitt offered $80,000. Clarke, who was also in attendance with co-star Kit Harington, was said to be giggling the whole time.

An onlooker added that guest of honor Leonardo DiCaprio had a great time watching it, with his head snapping back and forth from Clarke and Pitt, while the bidding was ongoing. He also reportedly kept on egging Pitt, who was sitting at the next table, to increase his bid.

The 54-year-old actor later outbid himself at $90,000. At that time, Harington was out for a bathroom break. When he went back, he announced that he would also like to be part of the viewing party, and that was when Pitt raised his bid to $120,000, before raising his arms in excitement.

However, he was out at $150,000. But a TV-viewing date with Clarke and Harington was worth more than that. The "Game of Thrones" experience with its stars ultimately went to a woman and her husband who bid $160,000.

Despite losing the bid, Pitt was said to be in good spirits as he just laughed off his loss.

The last season of "Game of Thrones" premieres sometime in 2019.
