Bravely Second: End LayerSquare-Enix

The latest trailer for "Bravely Second: End Layer," the sequel to the hit 3DS RPG from Square-Enix "Bravely Default," showcases the 12 new jobs that will be available for players to unlock and utilize. Some of the new jobs are directly related to physical or magical attacks while others appear to be debilitating or manipulative in nature.

The first new job is known as the Guardian and this job is designed to use "soul power" in order to unleash powerful, high-damage attacks. Another physical job is the Charioteer, which involves arms proficiency in order to increase damage output. The Fencer job changes his or her stance in order to improve attack.

Some of the magic-related jobs include the Exorcist and Wizard. The former "reverts HP/MP to a previous turn" while the Wizard is described as a job adept in both spellcraft and spirit magic. The Bishop job will chant a spell twice to double their potency while the Astrologian utilizes "astral magic" to boost party stats and abilities.

Other jobs are a little left-field with their strange abilities. One is the Catmancer which is basically the game's version of the Blue Mage from "Final Fantasy," allowing the player to learn monster abilities. The other is the Patissier, which uses "deadly desserts" to debilitate enemies, akin to an Alchemist in other fantasy titles.

"Bravely Second: End Layer" will be a direct sequel to the first game, putting players back into the world of Luxendarc and the return of several cast members of the original title. A demo will launch in Europe this coming Feb. 11 before it launches there on Feb. 26. An American demo will launch prior to the game's North American April 15 release.

Like the first game, "Bravely Second" will allow players to mix and match different job abilities along with the "Brave" and "Default" options that can let a player save a pool of attacks or unleash them all at once.
