Earlier this month on "Braxton Family Values," Bishop T.D. Jakes gave the sisters some advice on how they can restore harmony in the family. While the others blamed Tamar for their troubles, Bishop Jakes focused on each one of them and how all of them can contribute to heal their relationships with each other.

Toni reflected on the Bishop's advice and decided to apply it to her everyday life. She said that she'd take responsibility for her own life and not blame others if things don't work out the way she wants them to. She came up with a new family code word — "banana pudding" — that they could say when someone is hurting another one's feelings, and it will also be a signal for that person to back off without being aggressive about it. Although her sisters thought that it's kind of silly, Toni felt like the code made sense since everybody loves banana pudding and it's a way to keep things light and drama-free.

Taking the Bishop's advice to heart, last week, Daddy Braxton surprised the girls and Evelyn with an RV trip to the amusement park, and Tamar could see that their mom was not very enthusiastic about this trip. But she remained positive and told her sisters to enjoy the day because this was something that brought them joy when they were still kids.

At first, Traci was skeptical about the family trip, but she was able to lighten up and laugh with her sisters when they got on the rides at the amusement park. Meanwhile, all the laughing and singing during the family trip to the park gave Towanda some hope about their relationships with each other, and while she knew that one trip could not fix everything, she thought that they were all on the right track.

Trina was still dealing with her own problems from the divorce, and she was stressed about an upcoming court date. However, during the trip, she was able to let it go for the moment and enjoy the day with her sisters. She said that she was ready to apply the Bishop's advice in her daily life, and although what the Bishop said wasn't what she wanted to hear, she said that what she wants to hear and what she needs to hear are two different things.

"Braxton Family Values" airs Thursdays at 9/8c on WeTV.
