With the release of "Bridge Constructor Portal" for the PC, Android and iOS, ClockStone Software and Headup Games have released a launch trailer for the new title which blends the traditional gameplay from the Bridge Constructor series and the puzzle-solving elements of the Portal franchise.

While the initial announcement trailer for the game just showed a brief use of the portal system in the game, the new launch trailer gives players a glimpse into just how the portals will be used in-game. Judging from the trailer, players will be able to chain multiple portals together, will have to utilize the help of other environmental items, and the game will also make use of iconic "Portal" characters such as the weighted companion cube and turrets. Charlie Hall of Polygon, who was able to play the game before its release, says the game is very impressive with "its highly effective new mechanism for humor delivery."

At the beginning of every stage, players are tasked to get a vehicle from one side of the screen to the other by constructing bridges. Aside from bridges, players can also use portals and other elements from the "Portal" series such as propulsion gel, repulsion gel, aerial faith plates, cubes, and more to bypass sentry turrets, acid pools and laser barriers, solve switch puzzles, and make it through the test chambers to finish stages. The game also features GLaDOS, the central core designed to control, guide, and oversee the Aperture Science computer-aided Enrichment Center voiced by Ellen McLain in previous "Portal" games.

"Bridge Constructor Portal" is available on Steam for $9.99. The title has also been rolling out on iOS and Android devices for $4.99. Headup Games is also running a special promotion in which players who buy the game will automatically get the original "Bridge Constructor" for free unless the game is already in the player's Steam library.

"Bridge Constructor Portal" is out now on PC, iOS, and Android, and will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime in early 2018.
