Two Eastern Conference teams coming off different results in their previous preseason games will collide this Monday when the Brooklyn Nets visit the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden.

The Nets just ended a two-game losing slump in their last preseason outing Sunday edging the Philadelphia 76ers at the Barclays Center, 92–91.

Center Brook Lopez almost had a double-double performance dropping 24 points while grabbing nine rebounds, also having four blocked shots.

Forward Thaddeus Young was the one who completed a double-double as he tallied 15 points with 10 boards, also having two steals.  Point guard Jarrett Jack and forward Justin Harper added 10 points each for the Nets in their win over the 76ers.

The win was a bounce back victory for the Nets who lost against Philadelphia 97–95 in their first preseason meeting, which was held at the Times Union Center on Oct. 10.

Brooklyn aims to do the same against the Celtics as the team also lost in their first meeting against the C's 109–105.

The game versus the Celtics will also be the last for the Nets in this year's preseason campaign before they open the 2015–16 regular season on Oct. 28 hosting the Chicago Bulls.

Meanwhile, the Celtics aim to return on the winning track after seeing their three-game preseason winning streak get snapped with a 101–95 defeat to the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden last Friday.

Leading the way for Boston in the loss was point guard Isaiah Thomas who had 13 points, one rebound, and five assists.

Center Tyler Zeller added 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one block off the bench. Guards Evan Turner and James Young were also scoring sparks off the bench for Boston tallying 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The second preseason meeting between the Nets and Celtics will be played on Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
