There is no rest for the wicked for the residents of the 99th precinct of the New York City Police in the upcoming episode of the FOX series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

In "Yippie Kayak," TV.com reports that the entire squad will be pulled out from the Christmas eve celebration with their families because of a new case. Jake (Andy Samberg), Charles (Joe Lo Truglio), and Gina (Chelsea Peretti) will particularly suffer the most, as they will reportedly find themselves in a "Die Hard" moment as they fight to stay alive. It looks like things will indeed turn dire as Terry (Terry Crews) will even be called to hurry and save his team. What can possibly happened that turn a simple investigation into a code red case?

While the squad is trying to make sense of what struck them, Amy (Melissa Fumero) will decide to pick the opportune time to shine and prove she is a valuable member of the precinct. Taking her mentors Holt (Andre Braugher) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) as inspiration, Jake's girlfriend will demonstrate how tough she is in a precarious situation such as this one. Will she be the saving grace for her team?

Last episode, the agents were forced to work with two Swedish operatives in an international case. Jake and Rosa stumbled upon diamond heist, as they capture one of the perps with a pricey necklace at a fish market. Elsewhere, Gina was being coached by Terry and Amy for her astronomy test. The agent was determined to finally get a college degree and her friends were very supportive of her plans. Terry even brought in scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson to help her understand the planets, as if his and Amy's impassioned astrology-inspired performance was not enough to educate Gina.

As for Holt, his annual squash tournament finally came and he enlisted Charles as his partner. The younger agent turned out to be a beast on the court, as he smashed and cussed against their opponent. Holt was over the moon with their win. Does this mean he has found his sports teammate for life?

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" airs Sundays at 8:30 p.m. EST on FOX.
