Rosa Diaz's (Stephanie Beatriz) tough persona will change in the next episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3, all because of her new boyfriend Adrian Pimento (guest star Jason Mantzoukas).

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Paranoia," the usually indifferent detective will try to change her supervisor Terry Jeffords' (Terry Crews) mind about his dislike for Adrian by asking for Jake Peralta's (Andy Samberg) help.

Rosa will ask Jake to help her change Terry's mind about their relationship. But things will not go according to plan because Adrian feels that someone is out to kill him.

Spoilers for episode 20 claim that Adrian believes that someone from his past wants him dead. This will worry Rosa, which is why she will tell all her colleagues about the threat. If Adrian's hunch turns out to be true, how will the detectives from New York's 99th Precinct help him?

TVGuide posted the synopsis for the episode, which reads:

"Rosa asks Jake to help her change Terry's disapproving opinion on her relationship with Adrian Pimento, but her romance is put on hold when Pimento believes someone from his past is attempting to kill him."
