Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) may possibly have a new love interest in an upcoming episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4.

TVLine reports that the recently injured civilian administrator will meet a new man named Milton, portrayed by "Cruel Intentions" star Ryan Phillippe. However, the report claims that her stepbrother and former flame Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) will oppose to the idea of seeing them together.

The report also reveals that Phillippe's character will appear in the first half of the two-part season finale.

Aside from Phillippe, "This Is the End" star Craig Robinson will also appear in the critically acclaimed comedy sitcom. He will portray the recurring role of Doug Judy, also known as the smart Pontiac vehicles thief and forger called "The Pontiac Bandit."

Nathan Fillion, the lead star from "Castle," is also reportedly appearing as a guest star in the series. According to reports, Fillion will play the role of a TV actor from a police procedural series who believes he can help the team in solving one of the cases.

The fourth season of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" just recently resumed after its midseason hiatus early this year, where Gina was hit by a bus after she received a text message from Charles.

Fans became worried about Gina's fate in the series, especially after Peretti announced her real-life pregnancy just a few days after the episode aired.

But in the recently aired midseason premiere, the series revealed that Gina is alive and well, but suffered from an injury.

The midseason premiere titled "The Audit" also reveals that one of the squads in the precinct is on the verge of closing down. This means everyone must step up their game to secure their jobs.

Adam Samberg talked about the squad's fight for survival in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"Well, they are a ragtag group of kids playing Little League baseball — I mean, cops," Samberg stated. "I don't know! Hopefully we'll stay on long enough for us to not be the underdogs anymore. But I think it fits really nicely with all of their personalities. They do kind of operate in their own universe, the squad of the Nine-Nine, so I think there's a lot of room for them to grow and make progress both personally and in their careers, and hopefully that's where it goes."

The next episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 titled "The Last Ride" will air on FOX on Tuesday, April 25, at 8 p.m. EDT.
