Bruce Jenner admits to having 'soul of a female,' children react to revelation

In his two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer's "20/20" on Friday, Bruce Jenner admitted that he is transitioning to become a woman. Now, the world wants to find out how his children reacted to his exposé.

Bruce Jenner admitted during his interview with Diane Sawyer's '20/20' show that among his children, it was Kim Kardashian who understood him the most.Instagram

The former Olympic gold medalist broke his silence regarding the allegations about his gender, telling Sawyer that for "all intents and purposes, I am a woman."

Jenner is a father of 10, including six biological offsprings from three marriages. His eldest children are Burt and Cassandra from his marriage with his first wife Chrystie Crownover, then Brandon and Brody were born during his marriage with Linda Thompson. He was last married to Kris Kardashian, who gave birth to Kendall and Kylie. Kris had children with her late husband Robert Kardashian, namely Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob, who Bruce all brought up as his stepchildren even after his marriage with Kris ended in 2014.

His children showed their support for Jenner after the interview. Reality show star Kim Kardashian was the first in the family who visited Jenner in his Malibu pad on Saturday. She spent hours in her stepdad's place, and took several photos with him during the visit.

She shared some of these on her Instagram account, saying: "Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter. Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life! #respect #hero #family."

During the interview, Jenner told Sawyer that among his children, Kanye West's wife has been the most supportive. He also admitted that she was the first one of his daughters that he had ever confessed to, and was the most accepting by far.

Meanwhile, Kim's brother Rob got out of his social media silence and posted his support on Twitter immediately after the interview, saying: "You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you. LOVE YOU!!!!"

On the other hand, Kendall, Jenner's 19-year-old daughter with Kris, posted a moving image on her Instagram account that shows a photo of her fill-in-the-blank fifth grade homework that reads: "I enjoy riding horses, but I don't care to play soccer. I could do anything in the world, it would be being a pro horseback rider. If I could be anybody in the world, I would be my dad."

In the caption, she said: "I wrote this in fifth grade...nothing has changed."

Kendall's younger sister and Jenner's youngest child Kylie showed her support to her dad even before the "20/20" interview was aired by posting a throwback photo of her father's younger years with the caption: "daddy throwback #tonight #DianeSawyer #ABC #love."

But Jenner also admitted that among all his children, it is 30-year-old Khloe Kardashian who has been having the hardest time dealing with the revelation. According to Jenner, despite being the most fun and open-minded person in their family, Khloe had the most difficulty in dealing with it because she had experienced a number of losses in her life, including her father Robert who died due to cancer and her failed marriage with husband Lamar Odom.

But Khloe still managed to post her support in her Twitter account after their family watched the interview, saying that she is very proud of him and fathers really are heroes.

Jenner's eldest son Burt, on the other hand, wants to be more protective of their father now that he has come out.

In his Twitter account, Burt addressed a message for the hypocritical supporters of their dad, saying: "Having a hard time not putting a few people on blast who were not supporters before hand, but want to act like they were all along."
