Bulwark Studios announced that it will release a game about the Adeptus Mechanicus in "Warhammer 40,000," titled "Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus" later this year.

The upcoming game was announced in an exclusive post in the Warhammer Community. Players will be taking the role of Magos Dominus Faustinius of Mars who is in control of teams of Adeptus Mechanicus forces as they lead their priests and troops on a strategic quest to retrieve ancient technologies from planet Silva Tenebris' enigmatic tombs. The first trailer of the upcoming game features a recording of a late Tech-Priest, Magos Dominus Reditus, who conveyed his disdain for the human flesh's weaknesses as well as his faith to the Machine God, Omnissiah. Players will be tasked to overcome the human weaknesses by upgrading troops with augments that will provide mechanical and strategic advantages.

The upcoming game features augments, tough decisions, noosphere experience and an enthralling story. As said earlier, players will be given the opportunity to upgrade and customize their Tech-Priest's limb with mechanical augments — bionics and mechandrites — that are made from Omnissiah's blessed metals. Players will also have to make arduous decisions that will pave their respective futures from the Ark Mechanicus, The Caestus Metalican and of course, the alternate endings their journey will lead them to. Moreover, the game features a noosphere experience for players as they will be able to use the evolved human cognition of the Adeptus Mechanicus to scour unexplored tombs in finding data to gain a strategic advantage over their enemies. In addition, the upcoming game also features an enthralling story written by Ben author, tailored especially to the personality of the Adeptus Mechanicus faction.

"Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus" is scheduled to release this year for Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux.
