"Burnout Paradise" was a popular open-world racing game that became famous nearly a decade ago. Unfortunately, there was no new game that followed after the release of the main game. However, the latest news regarding the said title notes that it is making a comeback with a remastered version coming soon.

The news quickly spread when developers Criterion Games tweeted about the remastered version. "Take us down to the Paradise City ... Burnout Paradise Remaster arrives on March 16," reads the tweet from Criterion Games. "PC version expected later this year folks." They followed it up a few days later saying that purchasing the remaster also give all the eight main DLC from the Year of Paradise.

With the new consoles of today, one thing is for sure, and as EA confirms on the official announcement, it will play natively in 1,080p on both the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One. For those with upgraded versions — the PS4 Pro and Xbox One — the game will also run at 4K at 60 frames per second (fps) so there is really nothing for gamers to worry about when it comes to performance.

The best thing about this is still definitely the free downloadable content (DLCs) that players get when they buy the game. The eight free DLCs include Big Surf Island, Cops and Robbers, Legendary Cars, Burnout Bikes, Burnout Paradise Toys, Burnout Paradise Party, and finally, Boost Specials.

There is a lot to be said about the main game let alone the DLCs. If anything, this definitely means that players will be experiencing all the exhilarating action up to 4K resolution. There are around 150 cards playable, with both cars and bikes and 10 main race tracks. Of course, a lot more has been added with the DLCs.

While the game is set to be out on March 16, 2018, anyone interested can already preorder it. Those with EA Access membership can even play the game on March 9, 2018 with the Play First Trial mode.
