'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Salvation' DLC release date: Four multi-player maps, zombie storyline finale arrives on PS4
Activision has released its final DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Since this is the last one for the season, developer Treyarch made sure to offer the fans a great big story for its Zombies co-op play. The expansion pack is first released for the PlayStation 4 console, while the Xbox One and PC will have it at a later date. Four multiplayer maps are also included.
The "Salvation" DLC game description says, "The Originscharacters have taken an epic journey through space and time with all of their struggles leading to this very moment. In Revelations – the final chapter of the Zombies experience – Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally come face-to-face with the mysterious Doctor Monty in The House. Confronted by an ancient evil, our heroes must fight the zombie horde once more in the final battle to save their immortal souls... features the final chapter in the Origins Zombies saga, Revelations. It features the four Origins characters, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai, who will finally meet the mysterious Doctor Monty. Players will then have to battle the zombie horde for the last time."
During the Call of Duty: XP event that happened during the weekend, studio head Mark Lamia said that the final chapter for the zombie adventure game took eight years and it's a joy to present it to the fans who have stayed through those years. Lamia said he hopes that fans will enjoy them as much as they enjoy every minute they have put into it, Venture Beat reported.
Meanwhile, players will also be able to enjoy the four new multiplayer maps that are also included in the expansion pack. They are Outlaw, the Western-style remake of Standoff, where players prepare for a stand-off; Citadel, which features an abandoned and ruined castle that was built long ago; Micro, where players are miniaturized and get to play on a picnic table; and Rupture,a futuristic map.
