With less than a month before the release of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," Activision released more details about the upcoming remastered version of the 2007 first-person shooter game.

According to the game publisher, players need to insert a physical disk of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition" in order to play the remastered version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare."

Activision stated that while the digital download can be claimed through a voucher code that can be seen in an insert in the box of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition," those who will play the remastered game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One must use the physical disk on the game consoles. They also need to be connected to the Internet in order to play the game.

However, the game publisher did not clarify if "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will be sold on its own. But Game Spot claimed that there could still be a chance to see the upcoming remastered game be sold separately.

Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered the PlayStation 4 version of the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition" with the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" can begin enjoying the beta version of the game on Friday, Oct. 14. According to the game's website, the minimum beta duration will last for three days. Although, the beta for the upcoming game will be held for a limited time, and there will be a limited number of beta codes available per participating retailers.

Those who will play the game using Xbox One must wait until further notice to know when the beta stage for their platform will start. On the other hand, those who will purchase the PC edition will not have a beta stage for the game.

The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition" with the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will be shipped to stores on Nov. 4.
