The New Year marks the release of a number of downloadable contents for a number of game titles, including the "Havoc" DLC for "Call of Duty: Warfare" that will be coming to the game on Jan. 27.

The latest expansion pack includes new multiplayer maps, new weapons, and new villains. The "Havoc" DLC comes with four multiplayer maps: (1) Core – a map in the ruins of an old nuclear plant located in the Gobi desert, (2) Urban – a Dallas-ward close quarter map, (3) Sideshow – a scary place found in Devil's Tower, Wyoming, and (4) Drift – a map in a ski resort with avalanches.

The DLC also features an AE4 directed energy assault rifle and a custom AE4 Widowmaker weapon variant. Lastly, the players will fight against new zombies in the Exo Zombies cooperative mode. Exo Zombies follows the story of four Atlas employees fighting a group of zombies due to a DNA bioweapon.

Meanwhile, Sledgehammer Games is rolling out the latest patch update for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" bringing the latest fixes to bugs and issues found in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. Specifically, the patch update resolves the 360 connectivity issues. Apart from improving the connectivity of the Xbox 360, it also improves the content management of the purchases from the in-game store. The "Call of Duty" blog detailed the improvements brought by the patch update. However, this is not the end as the game developer is planning to release another batch of updates to make the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions at par with the changes made in PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Since its rocky launch in November, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" received a number of patch updates to fix the bugs and issues. Gamers complained about gameplay and connectivity problems.

The "Havoc" DLC will be available in Xbox Live for $15.  "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" was released in Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
