There's some new content heading to "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" very soon.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" players will be glad to know that this time around, the new content they will be receiving comes in the form of two weapons.

The first of the two new weapons is the 1911 pistol, which will be the first secondary weapon that has been added to "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." There will also be four different variants of it, giving players some choices when it comes to which one they want to use in the middle of battle.

The 1911 is ideal for close to medium range combat, according to Softpedia. Anything beyond that range and the pistol may not be as effective. Being a secondary weapon, the 1911 pistol is better suited for emergency uses as opposed to being the player's main choice.

The second weapon coming to "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is the MP40 submachine gun. This new firearm will also come in four different variants upon becoming part of the game. The MP40's accuracy and rate of fire allows it to be effective against groups and even when used for somewhat long-distance firefights.

Both of the weapons that will be added to "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" can be found either as Supply Drops or Advanced Supply Drops, Express UK reported

The two weapons will be available for the Xbox One version of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" starting Sept. 29. After that, the new weapons should arrive for the personal computer (PC) and PlayStation 4 versions of the game about four weeks later.

Unfortunately, the last generation versions of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" will no longer be getting the new weapons. According to Sledgehammer Games, the game's developer, the new weapons are not coming to the last generation ports due to the hardware limitations presented by the older platforms.
