'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' update: 15 new levels and a breathtaking gear set offered

Initially, the action winds up when players reach Max Prestige in "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," but not for long. Sledgehammer Games has introduced the all-new Grand Master Prestige system, which adds 15 new Prestige levels to embark upon.

Not only will players come across more Elite Loot weapons, extra XP will be for the taking, too. The great part of gaining the Grand Master Prestige rank other than the bragging rights is the special purple and gold gear set complete with a cool gun metal camouflage skin, which is possibly the best prize that is worth all the hard work in the battlefield.

Players who decide to take on the challenge have an important reminder to bear in mind. Stepping into the Master Prestige level will reset the XP. Gamers' hard work won't go anywhere though as challenge status remains untouched and so do the challenges.

The new patch also offers a few fixes. Gamers can now say goodbye to rebalancing issues on weapons. There is an increase in player movement with most heavy artillery and the AE4 scopes are primed for the best firing experience possible. Readability issues no longer plague the Broadcaster mode as well.

Sledgehammer is pulling through the repercussions of a faulty "Call of Duty: Ghosts." Its delay on the "Havoc" DLC did not endear them to many either. The game studio continues to bring in some gimmicks to prove that "Call of Duty" is still the well-loved franchise gamers know.

Adding to the list of doodads to look forward to is the OHM directed energy weapon, a unique hybrid weapon that has the power of an LMG and a shotgun, which makes it a pretty cool addition to ever thirsty gamers' arsenal. This armament is part of the goodies within the next DLC pack for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare."
