'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare': second half of patch hits PC, PS4 as PS3, update for Xbox One, Xbox 360 to follow soon

The second-half of the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" patch now hits PCs and PlayStation 4 consoles. 

The first part of the patch that brought bug fixes to the issues in the new game was delivered last week. According to the community post in the official website of the game, the second part of the patch is now live to PS4 and PC. 

Meanwhile, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 players are still waiting for the update. The post announced that Xbox One players will receive the patch in a couple of days, while PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players will receive the patch "soon." The post did not specify the exact date of the release. 

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" was released on Nov. 4 on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but players soon started complaining about issues in the gameplay and connectivity. The first patch brought fixes on bugs and issues pertaining to connectivity, while the second patch are updates requested by players. 

The new patches include fixes to the myriad of issues found in the game, including: 

  • Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges. 
  • Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement. 
  • Fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances. 
  • Connectivity optimisations. 
  • Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging. 
  • Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons. 
  • Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios. 
  • Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match. 

The "Call of Duty" series by game developer Sledgehammer Games is well-known as one of the highest-selling games of all time. The new "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" will take the gamers to the future set 40 years from now equipped with futuristic weapons and abilities such as the exoskeleton-like armor that gives the players super abilities.
