'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' releasing for Wii U?

Call of Duty's official website

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is the latest project of Activision and Treyarch and it is landing on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. However, there are quite weighty reasons to believe that the highly-anticipated zombie-ridden shooter will find its way to the Wii U.

A fan tweeted to Activision Support, asking them what every "Call of Duty" gamer is asking: why is the website for the game allowing log-ins for Nintendo IDs if it isn't even coming to the platform. The publishing studio simply told the inquisitive fan to "stay tuned" as there will be releases on the Wii U soon.

Unfortunately, the answer is too vague to come to a conclusion although some media outlets are convinced that the reply, while ambiguous, is enough to know that the title is a Wii U offering on the horizon.

However, there were also some who understood that the response of Activision alone suggests that although it will release titles to Wii U in the future, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is not one of them. Despite that though, many are convinced that the shooter will find its way to the Wii U soon simply because "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" made it to the Nintendo platform.

For now, it's a bad idea to get hopes up. Activision and Treyarch have something up their sleeve and whatever that is, they will announce it soon. For now, gamers will have to play the waiting game.

The upcoming "CoD" installment is set to come out for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 6. The game is an obvious departure from its predecessor and follows the horrors of technology gone bad, making weapons out of soldiers. The game lets players assume the role of a specialist (there is a female specialist to pick as well) and they can also play in a four-player co-op mission.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" can now be pre-ordered and gamers who would do so will be automatic participants to an open beta for the game.
