It's good news for "Call of Duty" fans as the PlayStation 4 (PS4) beta for "Black Ops 3" is now officially online.

Not everyone who wants to try out the beta will actually be able to do so, as access will only be limited to those who have already pre-ordered their own copy of the game and then subsequently registered for the beta. A special token has been given to those who pre-ordered the game so that they will be able to access the beta.

For those who opted to pre-order their copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" online through the PlayStation Store, they will no longer need to wait for any token, as they can simply download the beta right now, according to Polygon.

As for what players can actually expect to find in the PlayStation 4 beta of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," what they will find is a heavy dose of the game's multiplayer offerings.

According to the official PlayStation Blog, players will be able to try out three different multiplayer maps inside the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" beta.

The first of the three maps is Combine, a battleground set inside a research facility in the Egyptian Sahara that features tight spaces and enclosures to ensure fast-paced action throughout the battle.

The second available map is Evac. In Evac, players will be doing battle atop Singapore's quarantine zone to guarantee a chaotic experience all throughout for the players involved.

Last up is the Hunted map. Here, players will find themselves among the mountains of Ethiopia with plenty of open space and enough sightline blockades that will allow players to successfully pull off stealth attacks.

There will also be seven different multiplayer modes that players can choose from, and they are Capture the Flag, Demolition, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, and Team Deathmatch.

The full "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" game will be launched on Nov. 6.
