The first update for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has just been released.

The initial update for many games is typically not anything major, and the same appears to be true for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," according to the Express UK.

Still, despite the fact that the update is relatively small, it will still be making noticeable changes to the game.

For the most part, the update will mainly affect the weapons inside "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

The changes will mostly be made up of weapons either being enhanced or weakened via the latest update.

Among the weapons that will be getting stronger are the Argus, Dingo, HVK-30, KRM-262, Locus and the Razorback. On the other hand, the weapons that have already been confirmed to be nerfed via the upcoming update will include the Gorgon, Haymaker, Pharo, VMP, XR-2.

It's unclear if that is the full list of weapons that will be affected by the new update or if there are more that have not been identified.

Aside from the tweaks that have been applied to some of the weapons inside "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," game developer Treyarch has also revealed that there will be more hardcore games mode being made available to players. The two modes being added to the rotation will be Domination and Kill Confirmed.

The update is available for persona computer (PC), PlayStation 4 (PS4), and Xbox One versions of the game.

In related news, Eurogamer has discovered through technical analysis of the game that its PS4 port runs better in comparison to its Xbox One counterpart.

The website suggests that the overall frame rate and resolution of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" holds up better on PS4 that on Xbox One, although they do indicate that their findings are based on their experiences and may differ for others.
