Game publisher Activision is preparing to launch a new Call of Duty video game this coming November 2015. The new video game titled Black Ops 3, which is in development by Treyarch, will be available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms.

The new first shooter game is a sequel to the previous Black Ops 2 video game, which was released in November 2012, and is part of the most popular and successful Call of Duty franchise.

The Black Ops 2 game had been very successful, earning multiple awards such as the "VGX Award for Best Shooter" back in 2012 and the "VGX Award for Best Multiplayer Game" in the same year.

The plot of the new Black Ops 3 game is expected to take place 40 years after the previous Black Ops 2 in the year 2065, according to a report, where artificially intelligent robotic soldiers are now being used for combat, and are capable of taking over the human race.

Just recently this month, a new deal was announced along with Sony that will make the new Black Ops 3 video game exclusively available first for the PlayStation game consoles. Chief executive officer of Activision Eric Hirshberg told gaming website IGN, "The time was right for us to partner up with Sony, they really wanted it."

"It's important to remember that this is a cross-platform game and everyone gets all the content eventually and it's going to be the best shooter on any platform no matter where you want to play." Hirshberg added.

The new Black Ops 3 game is already available for pre-orders for the Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Uber Gizmo recently reported that the Black Ops 3 open beta will be available to consumers who pre-order the game.

The game developer had also recently launched a new video that reveals the Black Ops 3 gameplay elements. Black Ops 3 is expected to be released on November 6 this year.
