A new trailer has been released for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" with just little over a month remaining before the game is officially scheduled to be released.

The new trailer provides fans with a sneak peek at the story to be told within the game.

In "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," the story of how human augmentation can be misused is told, according to Gamespot, and the trailer provides a brief look into the grim reality that portends for mankind.

The trailer shows off the catastrophic implications of a future overrun by superpower robots driven to take control of the world. They are shown wreaking havoc all over the world; then the focus shifts to the player and how it is now his mission to take down the mechanized threat to the very survival of humanity, according to Ubergizmo.

Players will learn more about the chaotic world inside "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" when the game is released on Nov. 6.

As part of the promotional campaign leading up to the release of the highly anticipated shooting game set for next month, the official Twitter account for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" set off a firestorm when it decided to launch an ill-advised publicity stunt.

According to Polygon, the game's official Twitter account briefly switched over to the name "Current Events Agg." and then began to release tweets about a supposed explosion in Singapore followed by a declaration of Martial Law not long after.

All of the events were fictional, however, and Twitter users soon began to talk about the irresponsible actions of the people behind the publicity stunt.

Not long after, the game's official Twitter account reverted back to its original form and indicated that the previous tweets were merely offering glimpses of what can be expected inside "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

It remains to be seen if the ill-advised Twitter campaign will have lingering effects on the game when it is released.
